Bayern Munich are reportedly weighing up a move for PSV Eindhoven defender Denzel Dumfries.
The 25-year-old has caught the eye with his performances in a Netherlands shirt during the group stage of Euro 2020, scoring against Ukraine and Austria and winning the penalty which Memphis Depay converted against the latter.
Dumfries's exploits have not gone unnoticed, and he also made a positive impression during the 2020-21 campaign with PSV, scoring four goals and assisting nine more in 41 appearances across all competitions.
Now, Sky Germany reports that Julian Nagelsmann is keen to utilise Dumfries in his new-look Bayern Munich side, but the right-back's price tag is proving problematic.
The report adds that Dumfries possesses a modest release clause of €15m (£12.8m), but Bayern are still reluctant to fork out that amount of money, which could leave the door open for other interested clubs to swoop in.
The defender's existing PSV deal expires in 2023, and he has played 124 games for the club in total, scoring 16 goals and setting up 20 more since 2018. body check tags ::
