Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has insisted that the club will never sell Thomas Muller.
The 26-year-old, who was linked with Manchester United over the summer, has netted eight goals in as many games for Bayern in all competitions this season.
Rummenigge has claimed that Muller's situation at the Allianz Arena is the same as Lionel Messi's at Barcelona or Wayne Rooney's at United.
"Muller will stay at Bayern, regardless of what any club offers," the 59-year-old told Bild. "There is no amount that would make us consider an offer.
"Messi belongs to Barcelona, Rooney belongs to Manchester United and Muller belongs to Bayern. It should stay like that.
"There might be players out there who have a better technique and who are faster, but there is no second Thomas Muller in this world. He is extremely valuable to us. He represents the Mia San Mia feeling at Bayern."
Muller has scored 110 goals in 234 appearances for Bayern.
