Bayern Munich midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger has reportedly told the club that he is in "no rush" to sign a new contract.
The 30-year-old German international has won eight Bundesliga titles with Bayern, but his contract expires in a year's time and he is said to be considering his options amid Premier League interest.
"I've agreed with [chairman] Karl-Heinz Rummenigge that we'll have a chat this summer to see how the future looks," Schweinsteiger told ARD.
"I've still got a year on my contract so there's no rush, and the summer's only just beginning."
Schweinsteiger has previously worked with Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal, who is said to be interested in bringing the midfielder to the Premier League.
