Belgium have kept their World Cup qualification bid on track tonight with a comfortable 2-0 win away to Macedonia.
The visitors took the lead after 26 minutes when Kevin de Bruyne broke clear down the right and deceived the goalkeeper with a low finish into the far corner.
Thomas Vermaelen was booked just before the break as Macedonia attempted to respond but were unable to equalise.
Belgium earned a chance to wrap up the points on 60 minutes when Eden Hazard latched onto a pass from Marouane Fellaini before being brought down in the penalty area.
Hazard stepped up to take the spot kick and made no mistake as Belgium doubled their advantage.
Christian Benteke and Jan Vertonghen helped the visitors control possession in the closing stages and earn a victory which sees them stay top of Group A.
