Real Betis boss Gabriel Calderon has said that Sunday's 4-3 win over Real Valladolid in La Liga was "for the fans".
Betis were relegated from Spain's leading division two weeks ago, but finished their home campaign with victory over Valladolid in Seville.
"We gave our life for this win," he told reporters at a press conference.
"It is for the fans and for the badge. Since I've been here, apart from maybe the first four games, we have always been equal with the opponent. Today though, we have won a crazy game.
"The fans are going to suffer, but I promise that we will bounce back. One day I will repay the debt the supporters have given me."
Betis have won just six of their 37 league games this season.
