Levante and Real Betis played out a 1-1 draw on the final day of the La Liga season this evening.
The result means that Betis secure a European place by finishing in seventh, while Levante are comfortably in mid-table.
After a couple of early chances for either side, Levante began to take control and almost took the lead through Robert Acquafresca, but his shot from the edge of the box was tipped over.
David Navarro also missed with a header from a Pedro Rios free kick, before Ruben Garcia's long-range effort was comfortably saved just before the break.
The home side's pressure told, as they went ahead five minutes into the second half through Rios, who headed into an empty net from Nikos Karabelas's cross.
Betis responded well as both Jorge Molina and Joel Campbell saw their efforts well saved, before an equaliser finally came when Ruben Castro found Molina in the box and the striker curled the ball into the top corner.
Neither side were able to create anything of note in the final minutes, as both teams settled for a draw.
