Birmingham City manager Gary Rowett has targeted one or two loan signings to help the club in the final months of the Championship season.
Rowett's Blues are without a win in seven Championship games and have fallen down to 15th place in the table, eight points above the bottom three.
He expects to be able to bolster his squad with an addition or two in the near future.
"Because there have been so many games, teams are reluctant to let players out at this moment," he told the club website. "That's the difficulty getting the quality you're looking for.
"I think a lot are holding on just to make sure the 93-day emergency loan gets them through the playoffs. That's what a lot of the top teams have been doing, therefore some of targets we're after we've been waiting round for a couple of weeks.
"That could settle down over the next week or two and hopefully we can make at least one addition and hopefully two."
Rowett's men can end their wait for a win if they are victorious at Portman Road against promotion hopefuls Ipswich Town later tonight.
