Blackburn Rovers manager Gary Bowyer has praised Paul Robinson for the performance that he put in against Manchester City in the FA Cup earlier today.
The experienced goalkeeper had not featured since December 2012 because of injury, but Bowyer opted to include the former England international against the Premier League visitors.
He went on to make a handful of saves as Rovers forced a replay at the Etihad Stadium courtesy of a 1-1 draw.
"I'm delighted for Paul Robinson, he has gone out there and put in a performance. He'll only get stronger and better," Bowyer told reporters.
Robinson joined Rovers in 2008 from Tottenham Hotspur.
