Blackburn Rovers have confirmed that striker DJ Campbell has been arrested in connection with allegations of football spot-fixing.
It had been reported that the 32-year-old was one of six people questioned by officers from the National Crime Agency.
Now, the Championship club have confirmed that the former Queens Park Rangers forward is in custody in relation to the investigation, according to Sky Sports News.
Reports have claimed that Campbell is being questioned regarding a yellow card he was issued in the 24th minute of Blackburn's 3-1 defeat to Ipswich Town last Tuesday.
Campbell was cautioned for a challenge on Aaron Cresswell.
