Blackburn Rovers fans will line the streets on Saturday in a protest march against manager Steve Kean.
The Rovers following recently called for Kean’s sacking by writing to the board of their concerns.
Since then the 43-year-old has urged the fans to be patient.
Despite his request, Blackburn fans are planning to step up their pursuit by forming a 1,000-strong march this weekend.
"The numbers look like hitting the 1,000 mark so the fans are keen to have Steve Kean removed,” organiser Glen Mullan told The Mirror.
"It's going to be a peaceful march, but we want to make our point and there will be banners made. It's about time the owners listened to the fans.
"We want someone who is experienced and can relate to the fans."
Blackburn take on Arsenal at Ewood Park on Saturday.
