Blackburn Rovers boss Steve Kean has said that the next month could define the club's season.
The Lancashire outfit have won a total two games in 2012 so far and remain entrenched in the relegation dogfight. However, Kean insists that he is under no illusions and understands the significance of the month ahead.
"I think with the fixtures that we've got it is a massive month for us," he said.
"I think March will define the season. I think the points total this season will be low because of the strength of the teams at the top.
"We want to come out of this month in a much better league position and with a bit of distance between us and the teams around. We need to start against Villa."
Meanwhile, the club face what is expected to be the "largest" fan protest to date as supporters continue to seek change at the top.
