Under-fire Blackburn Rovers manager Steve Kean has said that he was disappointed with the way his side performed in the first half against West Brom this afternoon.
West Brom won the game thanks to a late Peter Odemwingie strike and consigned Rovers to their ninth loss of the season.
Scott Dann appeared to have earned Kean's side a point before Odemwingie's curled effort and Kean feels the loss is, in part, down to a poor first-half performance.
"Yeah we dragged ourselves back into the game," the Glaswegian told Sky Sports News.
"I didn't feel that in the first half we got our forward play right in the manner we normally do.
"I felt we could have played more forward passes and maybe released [Mauro] Formica, [Simon] Vuckevic and [Ruben] Rochina in slightly better areas."
Rovers are 19th in the Premier League, four points from safety.
They take on relegation rivals Bolton Wanderers in a crunch game on Tuesday evening.
