Blackburn Rovers manager Paul Lambert has claimed that his side "dominated" tonight's Championship match against Derby County, despite losing out 1-0 at the iPro Stadium.
Lambert's side fell behind early on to promotion hopefuls Derby and never recovered, going close on several occasions but ultimately failing to break the Rams down.
"I thought we deserved to win the game, let alone anything else," Lambert told Rovers' website. "We came here and we dominated the game.
"For their goal I didn't think it was a free kick in the first place and then I felt Bradley Johnson was offside when the ball came in.
"Okay they had one or two chances which they are entitled to have, but I don't think anybody in this stadium could deny that Blackburn Rovers were the best team. We peppered their goal, we had a lot of the ball and you could feel an edginess here."
Blackburn have won just one of their last 11 league games to lie 19th in the table, eight points above the relegation zone.
