Under-pressure Blackburn manager Steve Kean believes that he deserves more credit for the job that he has done at the club.
Rovers are currently in India on tour and although he will meet owners Venky's he is not concerned about his future and thinks that he should be praised for the work he has done in developing the club's younger players.
"I do, because I know people will throw stats and if it is only about stats and winning games then it is going to be hard for young players to develop," he told Sky Sports News.
"I don't know then if Phil Jones, Junior Hoilett, Jason Lowe, Grant Hanley and young Robbie Cotton, who is only 17 and I've brought on this trip, these guys will come through.
"We just need to get the balance right."
Rovers, who are currently bottom of the Premier League table, travel to Loftus Road to take on QPR in their next match on October 15.
