West Bromwich Albion presented Blackburn Rovers manager Steve Kean with a 2-1 home loss on his year's anniversary at Ewood Park this afternoon.
The visitors generated more chances in the early stages of the game but failed to finish. The closest they came was a headed effort from Peter Odemwingie just before 15 minutes which flew wide.
The Baggies finally saw an opportunity through in the 52nd minute, when James Morrison struck home a volley from outside the area in the confusion following a Chris Brunt corner.
Kean seemed to be spared a home loss when, despite West Brom dominating possession, Christopher Samba set up Scott Dann 20 minutes later. However, Odemwingie finally got his goal one minute from time to ensure victory for the visitors.
Blackburn's loss leaves them in 19th place in the table, while West Brom climb two places to 13th.
