Ben Marshall could reportedly depart Blackburn Rovers during the January transfer window.
Brighton & Hove Albion were claimed to have lodged a £3.25m bid for the 24-year-old in the summer, but that was rejected by Rovers.
However, with the winger not expected to extend his current contract, which expires in 2017, his Championship employers may decide to cash in this winter, according to the Daily Mail.
The report adds that a number of clubs in both the Premier League and the second tier of English football have monitored Marshall, who started his career in the youth ranks of Manchester United.
