Blackburn Rovers have reportedly accepted a £9m offer from Middlesbrough for the services of striker Jordan Rhodes.
According to The Gazette, the 25-year-old will complete a medical tomorrow having already agreed personal terms with the Championship promotion-chasers.
In a statement on its official website, Rovers said: "We can confirm that we have reluctantly given Middlesbrough permission to speak to striker Jordan Rhodes.
"The player has expressed his desire to talk to the Teesside club and will travel to the North-East for discussions."
Rhodes has scored 82 league goals in three-and-a-half years with Rovers, including 10 so far this term.
