Blackburn Rovers have signed Colin Kazim-Richards on a season-long loan deal from Galatasaray.
The former Sheffield United winger had been told by his Turkish employers that he was free to leave the club this summer after failing to make an impact since his move from Fernebahce in 2011.
After expressing his desire to return to England, several Championship sides showed an interest and Blackburn have now confirmed they have won the race for his signature.
Kazim-Richards was born in London, but is eligible to play for Turkey due to his mother's ethnicity.
He has been capped 35 times by the national side, scoring twice.
