Blackburn Rovers manager Gary Bowyer has admitted that replacing his free-scoring front duo of Rudy Gestede and Jordan Rhodes would be difficult this summer if one or both were sold.
With one game of the Championship season remaining, Blackburn are guaranteed to finish ninth after struggling with inconsistency for much of the campaign.
Both Gestede and Rhodes have passed the 20-goal mark in all competitions and interest should be high this summer.
"Every player in the Championship is for sale," Bowyer said after yesterday's 2-2 draw at Huddersfield Town, a game in which both men scored.
"Of course, you don't want to lose them and they are not the finished article yet, they can both improve on certain aspects of their game. But they can do the hardest part, which is score goals."
Gestede was almost sold to a Premier League club in January and was dropped when it looked like he would be on his way.
"You want players who are hungry and want to improve themselves," added Bowyer. "You don't want players who are just happy to turn up for work.
"If I was to lose either of them I would have to find another 20-goal striker and with the transfer embargo we have that might prove challenging."
By scoring yesterday, Rhodes became the first Blackburn player since Alan Shearer to net 20 league goals in three straight seasons.
