Sunderland midfielder Jordi Gomez has been officially announced as a Blackburn Rovers player after completing a loan deal.
The 30-year-old, who has started just five Premier League games for the Black Cats this season, underwent a medical and agreed personal terms with Blackburn on Monday.
Gomez, who spent five years at Wigan Athletic, has been a Sunderland player since 2014 but will end this season on loan in the Championship.
Meanwhile, Blackburn forward Jordan Rhodes has left the club to join Middlesbrough on a four-and-a-half-year contract.
