Blackburn Rovers manager Steve Kean has said that he hopes to resolve Chris Samba's transfer situation "as quickly as possible".
Despite being fit and available, the wantaway defender was left out of the Rovers squad for Saturday's heavy defeat at Arsenal.
"I'm sure this will be resolved," said Kean. "We'll get back on it again on Monday.
"I would rather focus on the lads that were here today and Chris wasn't here today, he wasn't in the squad, and hopefully we can get that resolved as quickly as possible."
Samba has been linked with moves to both Queens Park Rangers and Tottenham Hotspur.
