Midfielder Jason Lowe has put pen to paper on a new five-year deal at Blackburn Rovers.
The 20-year-old, who made his first-team debut last season, has featured six times for Rovers this term.
"I'm delighted to have signed. I just want to work as hard as I can," he told BBC Radio Lancashire.
"It's something you work towards as a young player and I've been here a long time now. I just want to work as hard as I can for the football club.
"This is my eighth year [with the club]. I signed as an under-11 so it's been a long time and there's more to come yet."
Lowe played in Wednesday night's Carling Cup win against Newcastle United.
