Blackpool and Bolton Wanderers have both struck the woodwork in the first half of their Championship clash at Bloomfield Road which has ended 0-0.
Chris Eagles, who is making his Blackpool debut against the side who released him in the summer, almost got off to a dream start but his 12th-minute shot was well held by Andy Lonergan.
Then it was Bolton's turn to threaten, as Tim Ream saw his shot palmed away by Joe Lewis before Lee Chung-yong flicked a header narrowly wide.
Blackpool continued to press though, and were unlucky not to take the lead after 19 minutes as Jacob Mellis shuddered the bar with a long-range effort.
Bolton then struck the woodwork themselves, as Lee's strike ricocheted back off the post following a slick move from the visitors.
Lewis was forced into another save from Max Clayton's strike before a controversial moment before the break, as the Blackpool stopper was only shown a yellow card for bringing down Craig Davies inches outside the box.
