Blackpool's Alex Baptiste has admitted that his team have not been playing their best football in recent weeks.
The Seasiders, who have lost three of their last six games, most recently fell 1-2 at home to Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
However, the midfielder insists that the relegated club, currently 11th in the Championship table, should be doing better.
"Saturday, Tuesday, Saturday games is when we struggle," he told BBC Radio Lancashire.
"We need to look at ourselves because it seems we are shooting ourselves in the foot every single week.
"I just don't think we get going in certain games. It's something we've got to put right."
Blackpool next travel to take on 17th-placed Burnley on Saturday.
