Blackpool boss Lee Clark has started planning for next season in League One after admitting that his side need a "miracle" to remain in the Championship.
The Tangerines are rock bottom of the table and 17 points adrift of safety following their defeat to Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday, with just 10 games left in the campaign.
Clark told BBC Sport: "It's getting a bigger miracle by the week that needs to happen for us to stay up. I'm 100% confident I will be here next season, from the conversations I have had with the chairman.
"I want the players to stake a claim to be part of the overhaul that I'll be doing to try and get the club back to the Championship at the first attempt."
Blackpool have lost their last four matches in a row and have failed to record a victory since January.
