Blackpool have been beaten 2-0 by Charlton Athletic in an entertaining Championship match at Bloomfield Road.
In a quiet first half, Matt Phillips nearly lit up Bloomfield Road with a superb effort from outside the box that Ben Hamer was forced to push to safety.
Charlton applied the pressure in the latter stages of the first period and a last-ditch clearance from Stephen Crainey ensured that the hosts remained on level terms heading into the break.
The home crowd were silenced four minutes into the second half when Leon Cort found space in the Blackpool box to finish well from a Dale Stephens corner.
Tom Ince was brought on by Ian Holloway after the goal and his introduction almost had an immediate impact when he found space inside the box but Hamer did well to deny the in-form midfielder.
However, Blackpool's pressure counted for nothing in the 73rd minute when Chris Solly unleashed a fantastic shot from 25 yards that left Matt Gilks with no chance in the home side's goal.
Charlton finished the better side, with the visitors able to keep the ball and record an impressive victory to climb up the table.
