Blackpool manager Ian Holloway is reportedly close to agreeing a deal to bring striker DJ Campbell back to Bloomfield Road.
According to the Daily Mail, Holloway has agreed a fee of around £1m with Queens Park Rangers for Campbell but has yet to discuss personal terms.
Campbell scored 13 goals for Blackpool in their memorable Premier League campaign under Holloway and established himself as a fan favourite for the Seasiders.
Blackpool are not the only club interested in the forward's services, with Watford, Blackburn Rovers and Wigan Athletic all linked with a move for the Londoner.
Campbell would need to take a significant pay cut to join Holloway's promotion push this season.
