Platense vs. Tigre (Sunday, 12.00am)

Platense will be looking to return to winning ways when they host Tigre at Estadio Ciudad de Vicente Lopez in the Argentine Primera Division on Saturday evening.

The hosts suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat last time out, whilst Tigre were successful in midweek Copa Sudamericana action on home soil against Venezuelan opposition.

Platense will be confident of earning a fourth-straight home victory but face a tough assignment against a Tigre side who will be buoyed by their midweek success in the Sudamericana.

Tigre have not won in the Argentine Primera Liga since April but should be good enough to get a point on the road on Saturday evening.

Boca Juniors vs. Lanus (Sunday, 12.00am)

Boca Juniors will be aiming to move two points behind Lanus in the Argentine Primera Division Table by defeating them at La Bombonera on Saturday.

The visitors have taken seven points from their last three league games to move up to sixth in the league.

We say: Boca Juniors 2-1 Lanus

Although Lanus head into this match in better form, we expect Boca Juniors to record a win for the fourth time in their last five league games this weekend.

The hosts have made a disappointing defence of their title so far this season, but they still have time to turn things around, and had looked capable of doing so before Weigandt's red card cost them in their last league match.

Talleres vs. Arsenal (Sunday, 1.30am)

Talleres will continue to hunt down River Plate at the top of the Argentine Primera Division when they host Arsenal Sarandi at the Estadio Mario Alberto Kempes on Sunday.

The hosts come into this match just four points off top spot, while the visitors are seeking to win just their second away match of the season, to lift themselves from the bottom of the table.

Talleres are enjoying a brilliant campaign up until this point and have not tasted defeat against Arsenal Sarandi for five games, so we can see the home side winning comfortably.
