Bologna manager Delio Rossi has said that he wants to mark the club's 106th anniversary by recording a victory over Juventus this evening.
The Rossoblu have won just one of their league fixtures since returning to Serie A this season and are currently sat bottom of the table, but Rossi believes that their performances in recent weeks have not been rewarded.
"Today is Bologna's birthday and we really hope to give everyone a nice gift," he told reporters. "The guys are sorry for our current ranking in the league, and one way to make up for it is go on the pitch and give everything.
"There are stadiums, like the one in which we will play tomorrow, that many players dream about playing in as children. If I think about my team where there are so many young players, for a lot of them it will be their first time in Serie A; and thus I hope for them that they can go to the Juventus Stadium with desire and prove themselves to everyone else.
"The team in recent weeks has had grown a lot even if the results haven't reflected that. We need a spark, but we need to create this ourselves and not rely on others."
Bologna have lost five of their opening six matches in the top flight this season.
