Bolton Wanderers manager Dougie Freedman has revealed that the club is unlikely to make Craig Dawson's move from West Bromwich Albion permanent.
The 22-year-old defender, who joined the Trotters on a three-month loan deal in January, has scored four goals in six appearances for the Championship outfit.
"I told Craig the deal. I'll develop him as a player and then I'll send him back to West Brom," Freedman told BBC Radio Manchester.
"Hopefully they [Albion] will remember us for what we've done for him.
"West Brom are a top-eight side right now and he's not going to get in their side right now. That's why he's out on loan - to get some experience."
Bolton host Blackburn Rovers on Tuesday evening.
