Bolton Wanderers have completed the signing of defender Jack Hobbs on a free transfer.
Hobbs has spent the last five seasons at Nottingham Forest, but the 29-year-old's time at the City Ground came to an end once his contract expired in June.
However, Bolton have announced the addition of the former Liverpool man - who has spent part of pre-season with Bolton - on a one-year deal.
Hobbs told the club's official website: "I'm delighted to get the deal over the line. Obviously I've been up here with the team training for a few weeks now and to have agreed a year-long contract is fantastic. I just can't wait to get started now."
Manager Phil Parkinson could hand Hobbs a debut when Bolton face West Bromwich Albion in their Championship opener on Saturday afternoon.
