Kevin Nolan is reportedly in talks over a return to former club Bolton Wanderers.
The 33-year-old left West Ham United in the summer and has been training with Leyton Orient in order to keep fit whilst searching for a new club.
It is believed that Nolan travelled to Bolton on Friday and according to The Mirror, the Championship club fear they may not be able to afford his wages but are hopeful that they can come to an agreement.
Nolan played 10 years with the Trotters before joining Newcastle United in 2009 and followed his former Bolton manager Sam Allardyce to West Ham in 2011.
