Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp has praised the impact made by Adrian Ramos in his side's 3-0 victory over Anderlecht on Wednesday night.
Ramos came off the bench in the second half to score twice for the visitors in Belgium, but Klopp has revealed that he was intending to start the Colombian before changing his mind.
"The idea was originally to play Adrian Ramos from the start, but, for various reasons, I decided on Ciro Immobile," the Dortmund boss told members of the media.
"We wanted to run them tired and then Adrian could come in and deliver the killing blow, and it worked. The guys who played 90 minutes made them tired, and the guys who came on benefited from that."
Dortmund are top of Group D on six points.
