Borussia Dortmund continued their impressive Champions League form on Wednesday night by beating Galatasaray 4-0 in Istanbul.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's brace and a 25-yard strike from Marco Reus handed Dortmund the control in the first half, before Adrian Ramos came off the bench late on to secure an emphatic win for Jurgen Klopp's side.

Below, Sports Mole takes a look at who impressed in the Group D clash.

GALATASARAY

Goal

Fernando Muslera: In truth, the Uruguayan couldn't have done anything to stop the goals and he made a number of saves to prevent Dortmund winning more emphatically. (6/10)

Defence

Tarik Camdal: Often caught out of position when attempting to track back, and was unable to prevent Reus or Henrikhy Mkhitaryan from enjoying success when they switched to his side of the pitch. (5/10)

Aurelien Chedjou: At fault for Dortmund's second goal as allowed Aubameyang to find space inside the box. Never looked sure about who he should mark when the visitors attacked in numbers. (5/10)

Semih Kaya: Performed slightly better than his fellow defenders, but also struggled to deal with the pace of Aubameyang. (6/10)

Alex Telles: Awful night for the Brazilian. His crossing from the left was particularly poor, while his poor positioning invited pressure from Dortmund on his wing. (5/10)

Midfield

Felipe Melo: A rare energetic figure for Galatasaray in the first half, but he faded as the match progressed and did very little after the break. (6/10)

Hamit Altintop: The Turkish midfielder is still not fully fit following his injury problems, and he was unable to have an impact at either end of the pitch. (5/10)

Selcuk Inan: One of the few Galatasaray players who never stopped, despite Dortmund's dominance. Always wanted the ball, but struggled to compete with the visiting midfielders. (6/10)

Wesley Sneijder: Galatasaray needed the Dutch playmaker to play a key role, but he was virtually non-existent on a frustrating night. Offered very little on the rare occasion he did get the ball in advanced areas. (4/10)

Attack

Burak Yilmaz: The forward was lively early on, but he was starved of service and couldn't escape the attention of Neven Subotic. (5/10)

Goran Pandev: Much like Yilmaz, he was barely involved in the game as Galatasaray struggled to create opportunities for the front two. (4/10)

Substitutes

Blerim Dzemaili: A surprise omission from the starting lineup, but did little to prove his worth as Dortmund prevented him from having an impact late on. (4/10)

Yasin Oztekin: Offered a different option for the hosts on the right wing. However, his crossing was poor when he did collect the ball in the final third of the pitch. (5/10)

Emre Colak: Plenty of running from the late substitute, but he couldn't get involved as much as he would have wished. (5/10)

BORUSSIA DORTMUND

Goal

Roman Weidenfeller: Easy night for the experienced shot-stopper as he benefited from Dortmund's impressive display. (6/10)

Defence

Lukasz Piszczek: As always, the Polish defender was dependable going in both directions. Provided the cross for Aubameyang's second goal, too. (7/10)

Neven Subotic: Typically dominant in the air when threatened on the rare occasion by Galatasaray. (6/10)

Mats Hummels: Made a number of key interceptions in the first half as he led by example before being given a rest by Klopp late on. (7/10)

Sokratis Papastathopoulos: Prandelli's decision to stick with the diamond formation for most of the game ensured that he was rarely tested on a quiet evening for the full-back. (6/10)

Midfield

Sebastian Kehl: Rarely put a foot wrong as Dortmund won the battle in midfield. Managed to take any pressure off his defenders with some fine tackling. (7/10)

Sven Bender: Forced off 10 minutes into the second half with an injury, but had impressed by keeping Sneijder quiet before the break. (7/10)

Shinji Kagawa: Linked up well with the players around him as he continues a promising start to a second stint with Dortmund. Muslera denied the Japan international a goal in the first half with a fine save. (7/10)

Marco Reus: Proved what the team have been missing in his absence. Troubled Galatasaray with his clever running on and off the ball. Deserved the applause he received from the home fans after picking out the top corner from 25 yards in the first half. (8/10)

Henrikh Mkhitaryan: A constant threat to the Galatasaray defence. Always willing to take players on and stretched the game with his runs into the channels. (8/10)

Attack

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang: Continued his fine form in the competition with two goals as his pace proved to be an unsolvable problem for the hosts. (8/10)

Substitutes

Matthias Ginter: Slotted in at centre back when Klopp decided to protect Hummels. Neat and tidy on the ball as Dortmund cruised to victory. (6/10)

Ilkay Gundogan: Continued his comeback with an impressive cameo. Set up the final goal with a brilliant turn and pass in midfield. (7/10)

Adrian Ramos: Displayed the strength of Klopp's squad by making an instant impact with a fine finish to wrap up the victory. (7/10)
