Borussia Dortmund will be without the services of key attacker Marco Reus for Wednesday's Champions League last-16 first leg against Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley.
Reus has been in impressive form for Dortmund this season, managing 17 goals and 11 assists in 27 appearances in all competitions for the Bundesliga club.
The 29-year-old will be unavailable to take part against Tottenham in the English capital, though, having picked up a thigh muscle during Dortmund's German Cup clash with Werder Bremen last week.
"We would of course have liked to have him in London, because his presence is a bit intimidating for the opponent. But we'll compensate for his absence," Dortmund official Sebastian Kehl told reporters.
Reus struck once and registered five assists in Dortmund's five Champions League group matches earlier this season.
Aside from their penalty-shootout defeat to Bremen in the German Cup last week, Dortmund have only lost once in all competitions since the start of November.
