Borussia Dortmund forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has revealed that teammate Sebastian Kehl predicted the Gabonese would score the winner in Tuesday night's DFB-Pokal clash with Eintracht Frankfurt.
It was left until late, but Aubameyang headed in from close range to give his side a 1-0 win and book them a place in the semi-finals of the competition.
"It was a very emotional moment, I just felt great," he told Bundesliga.com. "Believe it or not, Kehl had told me before the game that I would score the winner, and strangely enough he was the one that set me up by flicking on Henrikh Mkhitaryan's corner - simply amazing!
"It's not really about who scores. Football is a team sport and we all rely on each other on the pitch. Of course I'm happy when I'm able to help the team be successful, but in the end it was all about winning and getting to the semi-finals."
Dortmund are currently third in the Bundesliga.
