Jurgen Klopp is delighted with Borussia Dortmund's 5-0 hammering of Borussia Monchengladbach in the Bundesliga.

Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp has hailed his side's "perfect" performance against Borussia Monchengladbach in the Bundesliga on Saturday.

The defending German champions recovered from their 3-3 draw with Eintracht Frankfurt in midweek with a 5-0 hammering of Lucien Favre's side at home.

"The lads have done well, in what has been a beautiful evening of football," said Klopp on Dortmund's official website. "There is nothing to complain about today.

"We more than made up for fumbling our two-goal lead [against Eintracht Frankfurt] tonight. We had a really good second half, against a top opponent. We scored some really great goals.

"Today, we either were more clinical in finishing off moves, or simply had better luck than we did the last time out. We played really good football, and had a lot of fun. Everything was perfect today."

Dortmund are currently fourth in the league table with 11 points from six matches, seven points behind leaders Bayern Munich.
