Borussia Dortmund forward Ciro Immobile has admitted that he would be open to leaving the club this summer.
The Italian was kept on the fringes of the side for much of his first season with Dortmund, and he has been repeatedly linked with a return to Serie A despite the arrival of Thomas Tuchel as Jurgen Klopp's replacement.
Tuchel has suggested that Immobile will be given a chance to impress him, but the former Torino forward has refused to rule out a departure.
"A return to Italy is not fantasy football. There's always that chance," the 25-year-old told Coverciano.
"Let's wait and see: first I need to speak with the new coach. We are in the early stages of the transfer market, so it's still very early. My name has been made next to that of some great clubs, and that is pleasing."
Immobile scored just three Bundesliga goals in his debut campaign.
