Bournemouth defender Tyrone Mings has reportedly been ruled out for the rest of the season, just three months after becoming the Cherries' club-record signing.
The 22-year-old left-back went down injured six minutes into his Premier League debut in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Leicester City, before being stretchered off.
Scans have revealed that the former Ipswich Town starlet suffered torn anterior and medial ligaments and could be absent for up to 12 months, according to BBC Sport.
Mings, who cost Bournemouth a reported £8m in June, required oxygen at the scene after tackling Leicester midfielder Danny Drinkwater.
He was not named in the club's 25-man Premier League squad.
