Premier League new boys Bournemouth have fallen to a shock 2-1 defeat against Salisbury FC this evening.
The Cherries made a strong start and Harry Cornick gave them the lead in the 24th minute when he latched on to Jordan Green's pass and raced clear to fire past Gareth Barfoot.
Matt Butcher almost added a second goal minutes later, but his goalbound effort was blocked by the Salisbury defence.
Bournemouth continued to dominate, but they were pegged back just after the hour mark when Patrick Nolan scrambled the ball in from close range.
As the game entered the final 10 minutes, the Wessex League Premier Division outfit took a surprise lead when Mark Ford slotted home.
Eddie Howe's side pressed for a late equaliser, but they were unable to find a second goal as they lost for the first time in pre-season.
