Championship playoff hopefuls Brentford have insisted that star player Alex Pritchard should be fit for the final day of the season on Saturday.
The Tottenham Hotspur loanee, who has been named in the league's top 10 and PFA Team of the Year, had to be substituted during the 2-0 win at Reading on Saturday.
"Alex Pritchard got a kick on the calf, not a pull, and it was just precautionary to make sure it didn't stiffen up," said Bees boss Mark Warburton.
To get into the playoffs, Brentford need to beat Wigan Athletic, who will be confirmed as relegated if Rotherham United avoid defeat against Reading tomorrow, and hope that either Derby County or Ipswich Town lose against Reading and Blackburn Rovers respectively.
If Ipswich (+19) lose and Derby get something against Wigan, Brentford (+16) will only get into the top six if they finish with the same or a better goal difference than Ipswich.
