Ivan Toney will attempt to reach a goalscoring milestone when Brentford face Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
After helping Brentford win promotion to the Premier League in 2021, Toney scored 12 goals in 33 top-flight appearances last term.
The England international has continued to go from strength to strength this season, racking up 19 goals in 31 Premier League games.
Toney was unable to find the net in Wednesday's 2-0 away win over Chelsea, but he still has five games left to reach a significant milestone.
The 27-year-old is just one strike away from becoming the second Brentford player to score 20 goals in a top-flight campaign.
As it stands, David McCulloch is the only player to reach the landmark, achieving the feat on three occasions in the 1930s.
Toney was suspended for the reverse fixture with Forest, but he has previously enjoyed success against the East Midlands club.
The forward has found the net in each of his two competitive appearances against Forest, with both games taking place in the 2020-21 Championship season.
Toney will also be looking to score in a third consecutive home match after getting on the scoresheet against Newcastle United and Aston Villa.
Brentford, who are currently sitting in ninth position, are hoping to score in an 11th successive Premier League home game since playing out a goalless draw with Chelsea in October. body check tags ::
