Brentford manager Mark Warburton has said that reviewing controversial decisions would stop players surrounding the referee during a football match.
Using a review system, similar to ones used in cricket and tennis, would not disrupt a match either, according to Warburton.
"[Assistant manager] David Weir is in contact with our analysts and within five seconds of a decision they go yes or no," Warburton told Get West London. "We can go to the fourth official and tell them if it was correct. It's a split second decision.
"You can remove a lot of this problem by giving people that. It could be two per game in football or two per half. You could put rules in place that will alleviate this problem.
"A bench will know within three seconds. We have the beauty of technology and they haven't got that luxury. We're sitting there with an iPad outside the door knowing that we're right."
Warburton will leave Brentford at the end of the season, after guiding them from League One to the Championship playoff places in two seasons.
