Brentford boss Mark Warburton has described his side's win over Reading in the Championship as "immense".
The Bees moved up to 10th place in the table on Saturday afternoon with a 3-1 victory at Griffin Park.
The hosts moved into a 2-0 lead before the Royals pulled a goal back, but Jonathan Douglas struck with just eight minutes remaining to seal the points.
"Reading are a very good team with a lot of quality. To a man defensively, we were immense. It's a very pleasing result," Warburton is quoted as saying by BBC Sport. "We could have taken better care of the ball - but if we're looking for criticism after beating Reading 3-1 then we're very happy."
Brentford resume their Championship campaign on October 18 with a trip to Wigan Athletic.
