Brighton & Hove Albion boss Chris Hughton has said that he is looking forward to seeing Jurgen Locadia make his first start for the club against Coventry City.
Since signing from PSV Eindhoven during the January transfer window for a club-record fee, Locadia has spent a spell on the sidelines through injury and was an unused substitute for last weekend's 1-1 draw with Stoke City.
However, Hughton has confirmed that the Dutchman is ready to play against the Sky Blues in the FA Cup fifth-round encounter at the Amex Stadium.
At a press conference, the 59-year-old told reporters: "He has trained well over the last week and a half and he is fit and available. It will be good for him to get that first game under his belt and improve his fitness levels.
"We have got really good options in the forward areas. Anyone who comes in has got to work hard for the team and be a team player. He is a player that has scored goals this season – that is why we have brought him in – and hopefully that will continue here.
"He will play and start, he is fully clear from the injury. This will give him the chance to work on his fitness levels and give him the chance to integrate into the team in a game, as opposed to in training."
Brighton are looking to reach the last eight of the competition for the first time since 1986.
