Brighton & Hove Albion played out a goalless draw with Huddersfield Town in the Championship this evening.
After a slow start, Brighton defender Greg Halford had the game's first real opportunity, but his strike hit the side-netting after Leon Best's flick following a corner.
Nakhi Wells went close for the visitors, but his attempt from the side of the box was kept out by David Stockdale.
Minutes later, Mustapha Carayol almost opened the scoring for Brighton, but his shot struck the bar after Bruno's cross found the midfielder in the middle of the box.
Shortly after half time, Joao Teixeira angled a shot from the right side of the box, but narrowly missed as the home side increased the pressure.
Few chances of note were created in the second half, with Wells's first-half attempt the only shot registered on target in the first 80 minutes.
Wells then had a chance to grab the winner with under 10 minutes to go, but saw his shot stopped by Stockdale.
A few moments later, Stockdale denied Jacob Butterfield's effort before Wells pounced on the rebound, but the striker hit the post with his shot.
The game draw to a close with neither side breaking the deadlock, leaving Brighton 19th in the table and Huddersfield in 16th.
