Craig Bryson has failed to overcome a back injury and misses Derby County's Championship playoff semi-final second leg with Brighton & Hove Albion at Pride Park.
His absence means that Will Hughes comes back into the starting lineup in the only change for the Rams, who won the first game 2-1 at the Amex Stadium on Thursday.
Meanwhile, Brighton defender Matt Upson is out with an ankle injury and a knee problem keeps Andrew Crofts out of the Seagulls side.
Will Buckley does start after shaking off a hamstring strain.
