Brighton & Hove Albion are reportedly desperate to sign Sebastian Larsson on a free transfer this summer.
The 32-year-old's current Sunderland contract expire at the end of this month, and it is understood that the experienced Swede will leave the Stadium of Light in search of pastures new.
Turkish outfit Trabzonspor have been linked with a move for the midfielder, but according to The Mirror, newly-promoted Brighton will offer Larsson the chance to stay in the Premier League next season.
The former Arsenal youngster joined Sunderland from Birmingham City in 2011 and has made more than 200 appearances for the Black Cats over the last six seasons.
Last term, Larsson made 21 Premier League appearances, but failed to find the back of the net.
