Brighton & Hove Albion have reportedly set their sights on signing Blackpool youngster Mark Waddington this summer.
The 18-year-old broke into the first-team picture at Blackpool this season and has five senior appearances to his name, but is yet to sign his first professional deal with the Seasiders.
As Blackpool have been relegated to League One, Waddington is likely to reject the offer of a contract this summer and make himself available for other clubs.
According to The Argus, Brighton tried to sign him in January and will again make a move for the midfielder, who hasn't been able to play in the last two months because of a broken foot.
As he is below the age of 23, Brighton will have to pay Blackpool some compensation to secure his services.
