Brighton & Hove Albion have signed Elliott Bennett on a month-long loan from fellow Championship side Norwich City.
The 25-year-old returns to his former club on a short-term deal until December 1.
"Elliott brings an extra attacking dimension and will give us additional quality in the final third. He's comfortable on the ball, running at opponents and knows how to cause teams problems," Seagulls boss Sami Hyypia told the club website.
"I don't know Elliott as well as some at the club, but he's a proven player at this level and I've been told he's a great character, and he's the type we want on and off the pitch."
Bennett left Brighton for Norwich back in 2011 and missed almost all of last season through injury. He has made just one league start for the Canaries this term.
He is not available for this evening's trip to Bournemouth, but should make his debut on Tuesday night against Wigan Athletic. He will also be unable to play for Brighton when they travel to Norwich on November 22.
